TV por assinatura cresce 173,7 mil clientes em julho

O mercado de TV paga cresceu em um mês, segundo dados da Anatel, mais 173,7 mil clientes, a maior parte no segmento de DTH. Com isso, segundo a agência, o país chegou à marca de 8,6 milhões de clientes de cabo, DTH e MMDS.
O segmento de TV paga via satélite foi de 3,494 milhões em junho para 3,627 milhões de assinantes em julho, e market share entre as diferentes tecnologias de 42,2%. As operadoras de cabo, por sua vez, tinham 4,592 milhões de clientes e chegaram a 4,636 milhões, ou 53,9% de market share. E as operadoras de MMDS perderam cerca de 3 mil clientes e foram a uma base total de 336 mil assinantes, o que dá menos de 4% de market share.
